This site was not as good as other Sandaya sites that we have been to. We had a pitch with its own Shower/WC etc which was handy but the pitch was quite small so couldn?t use our tent awning and couldn?t fit our vehicle on the pitch. The pitch was on a slope but had big pot holes/tracks where vehicles have previously parked so we?d always be slipping in the tent. The pitch was next to a compost bin so we could smell that whenever it was used, the park was next to the pitch so balls would be bounced until about 11pm and then some nights kids would be gathered there chatting loudly till around 12.30am, not sure if they were locals or people stay info there. Behind the pitch was a WC block so you could hear people banging the doors in the night and the water running away when the wc?s were flushed. The site is not very secure and there is a security guard that sits in the Reception, we had a bike stolen one night. You can walk straight out the site to a large car park which is used by beach goes in the day, but at night I saw one man in particular walking around the pitches using his phone torch and then go off site to his van, this was around 2am the night our bike was stolen.Throughout many nights of me then waking up on edge when I heard noises thinking people were by the tent, there were various people walking round the site through the night, I went out a few times looking for our bike in the night and early in the morning. We stayed on pitch A7 and it?s the main route walking or driving through so at night i was disturbed alot, even when no cars should have been driving round the site they were. We ended up leaving a night early as I could not cope only getting a few hours sleep each night.
