Far below usual Sandaya standards. Nothing like glowing website description. Campsite split into two

Far below usual Sandaya standards. Nothing like glowing website description. Campsite split into two sections, the higher being like a shanty town. Immediately asked to move to lower original site. Reception staff excellent. Shower blocks good. No takeaway, limited shop. Staff unlike other Sandaya sites not in uniform, smoking/vaping and somewhat grumpy. Night security guard excellent when no electricity. Bar the most expensive of any Sandaya site visited. Small plunge pool but no outside pool. Onside small beach but no sun beds etc. Location of site means Electric bike essential as no small bars etc near. Worst thing was the campsite appears to be in a boatyard with three days of boats being towed through. Engines fired up with one metre of pitch. Boat owners (not residents) rude when asked to stop. If you want a campsite on the lake use either of the Sandaya sites at the North. They are
excellent. First time ever we left early and moved to another Sandaya site in Les Mathes which was brilliant. I know Sandaya only bought this site in March but it felt like a poor municipal site.
