⚠️I had just landed at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport when I got scammed by a fake taxi. The guy drove me to the center of Paris and charged me 200 euros. I thought it was super weird, but he was really aggressive, so I didn’t argue. Then he dropped me off at a fake address and I was completely lost. Luckily, a real taxi passed by I stopped him, he took me to my hotel, and explained that I’d been scammed because the real fare is only about 65 euros, not 200. So be careful always take the official taxis. Everything’s clearly marked when you get out of baggage claim. If someone comes up to you asking if you need a taxi, just say no and follow the taxi signs to the official taxi stand.
