Booked to bring our caravan up in February for two weeks, emailed and asked for a quiet spot, surrounded by nature, arrived late July to discover they had allocated us a spot only suitable for tents. When we advised we could not access the space with a caravan, they said they had no other spaces available for us! Offered a space between the two toilet blocks that shouldn?t even be a space as toilet cubicles and laundry open directly onto it and people walk through from one to the other. In the end they put us in spaces along fence, by road, next to crew cabins. It was a constant din of traffick and a grubby pitch. They did say we could uses pitch next door as compensation however it was satisfactory compensation as we didn?t want the first one , let alone two. Anyway tried to make best of it and pool was nice but terrace soul less and never anyone up there and no shade. Cafe/ bar good selection
and prices but again always empty and no atmosphere. Toilet facilities are still terrible, dark and dirty and the only reason this three star site stretches to a four star is because of access to site next door which only rubs salt in wound as to how crappy this site is. Camped all over France since a child and this is the worse site I?ve ever been too. Complained to sandaua and they?ve offered us loyalty points but we are put off going to any other s? day site again.
