We had a nice holiday. For the kids it was great. BUT lodge in urgent need of refurb, drinks expensive, bar food overhaul needed.

We had a nice holiday. For the kids it was great. The pool complex is good. Kids club great. Entertainment also good. Staff super friendly and effective when we had problems. BUT for the price we paid.... I would have expected more. 1) The lodge was perfectly fine but really tatty. Light fitting broken, bathroom door broke, kitchen sink blocked, air conditioning not very effective, mattresses clearly old and in need of being replaced, full lodge could do with a paint and a makeover. 2) Beach facilities non existent. Why wouldnt you have a beach bar (I wouldnt call Tiki a beach bar... no atmosphere, no one ever there). 3) Bar area not much atmosphere and alcoholic drinks very expensive (London prices).
