The site looked like it was the end of the season - not the beginning, especially around the pool area that appeared not to have had any maintenance carried out over the winter. The paint was pealing off the surrounding wooden fence, cracks in the pool surround and the planted area was a mess. Also the area is small for the number of units/pitches and quickly became crowded.
The waste/recycling are was disgusting - the bins were overflowing and a crushing unit that was powered had no safety guards.
The overall atmosphere from staff was flat - the few that were around never wanted to acknowledge you and didn?t appear very happy.
