It was generally ok but there were a few issues. The evening entertainment and music is unnecessarily loud for the size of the campsite. It could be much quieter and more contained. It could be heard from far away. People were checking the PA at 2am in the morning on one occasion. The organised pool activities were also far too loud with one person shouting unnecessarily loud down a megaphone. Pool staff were also far too strict about people having to wear speedos and spent more time focussing on that than the general safety of swimmers. In the whole site toilet block there was only one soap dispenser for hand washing and it was most often empty. The toilets were not very clean at times with poo on toilet seats and on the floor. There were also lots of flies and mosquitoes in the cubicles. The washing up area quite often had blocked plug holes. On the plus side, pitch sizes were good although we weren?t given the pitch that we had pre-booked. The pools were nice and warm and had plenty of loungers.
