I booked a Premium pitch 107 at Douce Quiétude on 20th August - 30th August 2023.
I paid for a Private Sanitary on my Premium Pitch but I was very disappointed with the state of the private sanitary. It was old and the steps were unsafe compared to all the other modern sanitary units on other pitches.
The wooden steps to the sanitary unit were very dangerous and unsupported, there were stones that had been placed under the step to give support. The stones didn?t support the steps. I complained to the reception and the steps were temporarily secured with some wood but still had the same stones to support the step!
Inside my sanitary unit I had 2 buckets and the head of a brush as the cleaning equipment, this is not good enough.
On the Premium Pitch there was no drinking water or any area to wash dishes compared to all the other Premium Pitches that had sinks, all I had was a hose pipe.
This is totally unacceptable for a Premium Pitch, this standard was below what I usually expect from Sandaya. All other times I have stayed at Sandaya sites it has been first class.
I mention the state of the step because I have an injury to my knee (torn meniscus) and I was very careful not to hurt it more. I felt very concerned that I would injure myself on the steps.
I have photographs to support my complaint that I am willing to forward.
