Slight issue with outside space. Our awning canopy was not waterproof like we have experienced at other Sandaya parks, and unfortunately we had a lot of rain during our stay. We were fully expecting to have inclement weather and expected to be able to sit under the awning during wet weather. Not having a waterproof canopy meant that we were unable to use the outside space of our lodge for most of the holiday.
We also has some very noisy neighbours for a majority of our stay. Children were trundling really noisy plastic wheeled bikes up and down the driveway in front of our accommodation for hours, which disrupted the otherwise peaceful site. This is a reflection of the other guests not being considerate, rather than a fault of Sandaya, but it did disrupt the peace and quiet that we had hoped for.
Other than this, the accommodation, park facilities and staff were all brilliant.
