Our cottage for 6 people was rather small, large people would have found the toilet, bathroom and space around bed difficult. We had problems with our shower, a good temperature would suddenly go very hot or very cold. Three visits from maintenance failed to resolve this potentially dangerous fault, particularly for use by young children. The cottage was well equipped but only had a coffee machine, I mentioned this to reception and a kettle was supplied quickly. Our cottage faced the road and whilst the speed of most users was sensible there were a few, including some of the Sandaya electric carts, that caused dust to be spayed over our outdoor seating and eating area. At the end of the day anything left outside had a coating of dust.
The above did not spoil our stay but where possible might need to to be addressed. There were many excellent features not least the efficiency and friendliness of all staff we came into contact with. Even at busy times and whilst under pressure staff were always courteous, friendly and helpful. Generally the site was well maintained and had a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
