The site is convenient for two or three nights as it is near Cherbourg and the ferry terminal. It could be so much better, the pitches vary a lot in size and quality, the one we were on was a bit rough and churned up. Also, with a caravan or longer motorhome be very careful in manouvering as there are obstacles like large rocks and sudden drops at some pitches. The toilet and shower block is clean and modern. The staff in reception are very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant is good, but if you don't book expect to turned away if they are busy. Also, it is not open every night. Similarly, the shop is well stocked but has limited opening hours and closed all day on Tuesday. There is a bus stop outside the site, taking you to Cherbourg, or the other way to St Vaast etc. In Cherbourg, get off the bus Centre Ville, and look out for a small overhead digital board with bus arrival times. The bus stand is very long, and it is easy to miss your bus back as there are no marked bays. The buses run once an hour. The swimming pool is not huge but very nice.
