What an amazing site. If you have children then they have everything possible to entertain them with a new ?animations? area being built ready for this summer. We arrived on Saturday May 27th just before the French Bank Holiday Monday and it was slightly busy. However by the Tuesday it was very very quiet, so much so that I had type whole lake to myself when out paddleboarding.

If you want peace and quiet then this is the time to come. The site is huge and I suspect at high season it will be extremely busy. The lake is great for swimming and watersports and the cycling on the ?Velodyssee? is safe and there?s plenty of beaches to cycle to.

While we were there we had a torrential thunderstorm and massive rainfall and hailstorms. The site security drove around checking on everyone?s wellbeing and offered shelter and a place to sleep if required in the undercover swimming pool.

The one downside while we were there is that the site shop was only open in the morning.
