On arrival we found our ?cottage? 628 to have tired uneven decking with moss growing on the railings and a dead plant in a planter on the deck. The first evening my daughter played in the soft play where there where human faeces and it was all over her clothes. The staff did not close the soft play and there was no evidence of a deep clean. That same evening my party of 7 ate at the restaurant but they forgot one of our meals meaning one of us didn?t eat. They took so long to make the forgotten meal that everyone else in the party had finished theirs before it arrived, therefore we cancelled the order. We were offered compensation of 6 free drinks for our party of 7. This is just sloppy, poor attention to detail. The response to our complaint to management at the campsite fell below the level of service expected.
Not deep cleaning after human faeces are found in a soft play area next to a restaurant is a huge public health concern. The decking around the lower pool had screws sticking out of the deck, in some cases by 1cm, causing injury to my daughters foot (photograph if you need evidence). We usually holiday with Eurocamp and thought we were booking a more premium holiday with Sandaya. This was not the case and certainly does not justify the £1000.00 additional cost. We will not be booking with Sandaya again and will not be recommending Sandaya to friends or family.
