Was overcharged by ?100. Complained and requested refund from reception staff but refused to give a refund. Requested to speak to manager several times but never available. Emailed manager but no response. Emailed SANDAYA customer services but, to date, no response. I will be contacting the Ombudsman to complain. There was always a long queue at reception and only one person at the desk. Totally inadequate for the number of people on the site. It took nearly 2 hours to check in as the pitch allocated was not suitable for my motorhome. Would have left immediately if we had been able to get a refund but staff refused to give us our money back. We booked online and should have been given ACSI discount but wasn?t. Lots of people were also complaining that their pitch allocated were not suitable and, as there was only one person to deal with these issues, she couldn?t cope. Pitches are mainly
sand. Showers were clean but the water was cold. Bar area is too small for the number of guests. Advertised as having a creperie but it was permanently closed. Description of pitched is misleading as website suggests there is water on pitches but there isn?t and quite a walk to nearest water tap. No street lighting so site is pitch black at night which makes it impossible to use the sanitary facilities after dark. This is the most expensive site we have stayed on and by far the worst. SANDAYA customer service is non existent but I will continue to try and get my money back. Will never stay on another SANDAYA site and I would advise people to avoid this company. All they care about is taking your money and not customer satisfaction.
