We have visited "les amis de la plage" several times during our summer vacation for over 20 years. The campsite has always been our preferred holiday destination by the Atlantic Ocean, and we still enjoy it. We are a bit disappointed that a large part of the site has now been converted into holiday cabins, which has taken away some of the camping atmosphere, but it does not change the fact that the place is fantastic. It is managed by friendly and service-oriented people. It is clean and quiet, and it is located by the most beautiful beach. The town, which is close to "le bois plage en re," is charming, and there is the loveliest market where we particularly enjoy shopping for fresh vegetables, fish, seafood, etc. All in all, it is still a gem by the Atlantic Ocean that we will definitely visit again.
