We were disappointed with our pitch, the washblocks, no direct access to the river and the road traffic noise.

We were disappointed on our arrival with our pitch. The surface was very poor quality - it had very little grass, was stoney, uneven and sloped. We felt we had been put on the 'overflow' pitch. The wash block closest to our pitch was very small and wasn't cleaned properly. The next nearest wash block was closed throughout our stay. The website was misleading as it gave the impression there was direct access to the river. All photos showing a river on the website are a few miles away. The website says 'unwind surrounded by nature'. Les Jardins de Privas is on the edge of town with a busy main road very nearby and we were woken by lorries and commuting cars and motorbikes from 6am every day.
