Things I enjoyed: pool a lovely place to play, bar and restaurant relaxing to sit at. A safe environment for the children to play and make friends.

Toilets and showers generally very clean - the children had their own showers and toilets which made them feel special and you could control the water temperature.

Thing I did not enjoy: pitch close to sewage treatment centre for the campsite although this was not displayed on the map. It was smelly and unpleasant to sit by my tent. It is also very loud and constant throughout the night.
I requested to move but the only other available pitch was waterlogged. Staff were sympathetic but unable to find a satisfactory resolution. I made a formal complaint to Sandaya but have not yet received a response.

Restaurant food was nice but so confusing what you could eat at the bar, As they serve different things at different times of day. Even the staff were unclear of which menu we could order from. Understandably they didn?t want us eating picnic food in the bar but it was so unpleasant by our tent that we found a picnic table and used that often.
All entertainment for the children and adults were in Dutch - you could ask for an English translation at the craft club but most of the kids shows were tricky to understand. It just needs one English character or narrator to explain what is going on or to vary it so all children can join in. They also missed out as they couldn?t understand that the venue for the show had changed to the pool and we?re waiting for the show in the normal venue.

Staff had a party one night and made a lot of noise when going back to their caravans ? lots of shouting, talking, moving furniture, bumping into things, laughing etc this woke up my whole family at 3am!
