Usually very ood campsite - but unexpected late noise on this visit

Lovely campsite and great location for a visit to Paris. Excellent shop, good sized pitches and the small town of Maisons Laffitte is well worth a visit. The site is close to the RER trains, and large river barges pass by, so expect intermittent noise, mostly during the day. We have stayed here many times and never considered that a problem. This time, however, there was an extremely loud music/ dance entertainment on the site on Saturday night. We didn't see any reference to this on the website or when we booked. There is a sign at the entrance to the site which says that quiet time is between 10 pm and 7am. The noise from this event was almost unbearable until well after 11pm and our pitch was quite a distance away. If loud entertainment is not for you, I suggest you check on booking so that you can avoid it. In other respects this is a good site and I'm sure we'll be back :)
