We had a very enjoyable stay at Peneyrals, we would happily recommend the site for family holidays. We were a couple in our motorhome, but with our grandchildren and their parents also staying in a mobile home at the same time. We wanted to be sited close together and this worked out nicely. It is very much a family orientated site, with an excellent pool area where the children could both play ( ages 6 and 12 months), and lots of other play areas on site. It was quiet at night even though there was entertainment every night and generally everyone was respectful of young children around the site, although some people drive too fast - some speed bumps might be an idea.

The staff we met were all very friendly and helpful, especially at reception. The site shop is usefully stocked unlike some we have seen elsewhere and the prices fair by convenience shop standards. The bakery products are excellent, as were the frites! The bar is well stocked but the draught beer is expensive. For those of us on camping emplacements, I felt the sanitary blocks, whilst always fairly clean and functional, are tired and need some updating - lots of shower heads not working properly etc. Please, Sandaya, don
