Good site, let down by poor pitch presentation and lack of options in low season

1. Appreciate that my stay was in low season, but closing all food and drink outlets from 2pm to 6pm and by 10pm felt excessive, especially considering the lack of alternative options due the remote location. 2. Appreciate that the site had had a lot of rain but the presentation of our pitch was poor. Uncut grass and overgrown weeds, a bag of rubbish in the sink of our private toilet block. Bench and sun beds filthy and covered in bird droppings. Certainly no wow fact on arrival, and we had to spend time cleaning. We reported to reception the bag of rubbish, but no acknowledgement or apology was received 3. The site was not busy, but some (not all) staff seemed uninterested and unfriendly at times 4. The tourist information point staff were great. 5. The pool and sports facilities were good
