Lovely relaxing location for a family holiday

We really enjoyed the facilities on the campsite. The pool was lovely and the sunset bar was amazing. The onsite shop was very reasonable. The activities were great and not too intrusive. I particularly liked the opportunity to do some wine tasting. The evening entertainment very well done and enjoyable. Loved being beside the sea as well. Staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The market on site the last evening was a lovely surprise too. However, we did feel the 2 shell mobile home was well below the standard we would expect. We expected worn and dated, but it was actually a bit broken down with a failing board on the terrace under the door, windows with broken latches, a screw sticking up dangerously on the terrace, blown bulbs, a terrible shower that had to be held in the hand, a plug coming out of the wall by the kettle, a very leaky kettle, and no door mats to help keep out the sand. There were also no sun loungers and only a picnic table on the terrace. Unfortunately, this meant there was nowhere comfortable to sit down on the terrace, as the deckchairs looked great but were not comfortable to sit in. Note we did not complain about any of this, as I don't like spending time complaining on a short holiday. So site was great (if crowded - definitely use the pick your mobile option) but be wary of the 2 shell mobiles.
