FedEx is the WORST
FedEx is just the biggest joke when it comes to international shipments. I just had the worst experience of my life with them.
I’ve sent some vinyl records from Colombia (Medellin) to France right before catching a plane and they offered completely overpriced options only. I’ve made sure to come a Wednesday so I could enjoy the « 50% off over international shipments ».
So they requested over 130€ to send only 4kg of vinyl to France.
So I’m sending those vinyl as a gift, anyways.
Included in that price, the FedEx agent from the Medellín store assured me to:
- do not pay any extra fees like borders
- receive it before the 16th of February
We are the 24th and the vinyl just reached the French borders.
Now the French borders are requesting me to pay an additional 76€ if I want to get my vinyl delivered.
The person I’m sending those vinyl to do not want it anymore as I didn’t respect the timeline scheduled.
I contacted FedEx support to get some help, they just provided useless links with absolutely no customer service.
What a joke.
What am I supposed to do with this?
