Generally we had a lovely time. Our visit coincided with the Pentecost holiday and the site was very busy when we arrived and on the Sunday but had completely emptied on the Monday and for the rest of the week we felt we almost had the site to ourselves. Our accomodation was for disabled visitors as my wife is in a wheelchair. While the special bathroom and kitchen arrangements were greatly appreciated the veranda outside has deteriorated and is uneven and represents a major trip hazard. We reported it and the maintenace man said it needed rebuilding and was a job for the winter! The ramp access is also in need of renovation
It seems that the number of wheelchair access bungalows is very few / our seems to have been the only one ? Further investment is needed in developing other perhaps 3 star and Premium properties for disabled use.
