Obsolete campsite facilities, expensive WIFI, non-usable animation,

Unfortunately, Sandaya Carnac has not been able to meet the expectations raised by Sandaya?s marketing communication during our booking and orientation process, nor those of our small family (two parents, four kids) during our planned ten night stay (July 17th to 27th, 2024).

First and specifically, WiFi was and is still advertised as ?Free? during booking (see for instance Google Maps), while in reality, it is only ?Free? at specific location (Reception) and for very limited time (several minutes). For WiFi during our stay we paid 100 euro?s.

Secondly, staff and animation activities and services were only aimed at French audiences and activities and services were therefore non-accessible for our Dutch and English-speaking kids. To our disappointment, none of the animation staff seemed conscious of the exclusion nor showed efforts to increase inclusion or attraction.

Lastly, campsite facilities are not up to date and don?t match advertised photos. The golf course, for instance, is non-playable.

Therefore, we have decided to leave a day earlier, on Friday 26th instead of Saturday the 27th, of which I already informed reception on the morning of Wednesday 24th. I expect Sandaya to reimburse the night that we did not use the facilities (that is, 10% of our costs) AND to reimburse the WiFi-cost we had to make.
