A 3 star campsite which is peaceful but requires a complete refit

It?s a 3 star campsite, not a 5 star. If it was a 3 star campsite I?d give a higher score but it doesn?t not meet expectation or how it describes itself.
Pros: it?s a lovely location, surrounded by trees, lots of space for kids to run around and quite relaxing. The pool wasn?t too crowded and staff is helpful and pleasant.
Cons: the list is quite extensive. After much deliberation I feel the main issue is complete lack of management (I never saw a manager walking around) and under investment.
Grounds: are tired, and require a complete refit and proper wash. It?s a bit grubby everywhere and there are practically no toilets in the pool (only one and it?s disgusting). Many times there were no lifeguards in the pool at all. There are not enough washing machines and dryers for the size of the campsite. The speed limit applied to everyone but those who worked there - in a few occasions I saw two guys racing each other at full speed on their golf buggies.staff zooms around in their trucks/karts.
Room: we stayed in one of the newly converted flats, which looked lovely and it was comfortable but there were a number of issues: - absolutely nowhere to put clothes in kids? bedroom / nowhere to hang clothes / no storage space on kitchen / a number of standard kitchen utensils missing and not replaced despite several complains (manager, where are you??), and weird number of stuff - there didn?t see any organisation as to how much or what you were getting.
Kids club: not fit for purpose, you can?t entertain a 5 and a 12 year old in the same way. It was really for 5yos. The ladies were super nice but it wasn?t really a kids club, it was more for young kids. The club at st Gilles was significantly better, lots of fun activities. We were also told as we arrived, in august, that the clubs had been combined because it?s September. Erm it?s 26th august???? Also staff kept telling me they were all leaving mid week.
Bikes: only 3 working kids bikes, not enough. And not enough sizes available
Playground: needs more stuff
All in all, we had a nice time but felt the place needs a facelift and better management/training.
