Our overall experience was affected by how we were treated in the aftermath of a fire on site which destroyed 3 mobiles in our line. We had to move from mobile A164 to M48 at 11 pm at night with no help or assistance. The whole experience from when we were notified of the fire by Lottie was very disappointing. We understand that unforeseen incidents happen but it was her very unprofessional manner in dealing with the situation that was so disappointing. As Lottie was English spoken there was no language barrier and while we conveyed our disappointment to her she simply did not care. We were off site when the fire occurred & we were not contacted to advise us we had to move cabin until we got a rather rude phone call from Lottie at about 10.15 pm when we came back on site. She asked us to come immediately to reception. When we did she told us about the fire and that we would have to move
cabin?s. It was close to 10.30 pm at this stage, we were offered no help or assistance in moving. We were not even sure where we were being moved to an were unfamiliar with the new location. We were advised by Lottie that the reason we were being moved was due to the fact we would have no electricity or water for 6 days however this was not correct. The electricity was not disconnected & the water was back the next morning. We had to find the new cabin without any assistance with 4 tired children. Then we had to make up the beds again. There was no welcome pack in the new cabin. We had no high chair for our 2 year old until we brought it from A164. Lottie?s attitude to the whole situation was appalling she even had the cheek to say to my husband the following day that she was on site until 1 am dealing with the situation but the difference was she was working and we were on holidays.

We were also moved to an inferior location on site & no compensation of any kind has been offered to date for the inconvenience and time lost to our whole family on our holiday.

The whole incident & the manner in which we were treated has really put us off going to another Sandaya site. This was our second Sandaya site & we also felt it was not as well maintained as Le Littoral. A football pitch is advertised but the grass hadn?t been cut in weeks. We asked several times before the grass was cut. The only reason you have received a 5 out of 10 is due to your animation team who were excellent.

Definitively not a 5 star campsite & customer service was 1 star.
