Nice site, fantastic location, good value but some accommodation a bit tired
The site itself was lovely with good facilities, wonderful location, clean and well maintained.
The cottage however felt a bit tired and worn. Things like holes in the lino on the floor where the bed legs had got caught and boiler being temperamental. It wasn?t a good start to our stay when arriving late at night to find no bedding or towels had been left in our lodge despite these being on our booking form. There were also a lot of spiders in the lodge upon arrival which may have been from lack of use over winter as the number did decrease after we had stayed a few days (although I did get bitten by one!)
The beds were comfortable, the site was quiet and overall was decent value for money.
